FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is wall printing and how does it work?
Wall printing is the process of using a specialized vertical printer to apply high-resolution artwork directly onto walls or other vertical surfaces. Unlike vinyl or paint, this method uses UV-cured ink to create vibrant, precise, and long-lasting images.
  • Why choose wall printing over vinyl or a traditional muralist?
Wall printing offers the precision and color quality of digital design with the permanence and seamless look of paint — without the peeling, bubbling, or long drying times. Unlike vinyl, there’s no adhesive, no cutting, and no risk of edges lifting. Compared to a muralist, wall printing is faster, more affordable, and perfectly replicates detailed designs, gradients, logos, and photos with zero artistic limitations.
  • What surfaces can you print on?
We can print on nearly any vertical surface: drywall, glass, metal, wood, concrete, brick, tile, plastic, fabric, and more — as long as the surface is relatively smooth and clean.
  • Is wall printing safe indoors?
Yes. We use eco-friendly, low-odor, UV-cured inks that are safe for indoor environments — including homes, schools, offices, restaurants, and medical facilities.
  • How much does wall printing cost?
Our pricing ranges from $20 to $40 per square foot, depending on the detail and resolution of the design. There is a setup fee for jobs under 20 sq ft, which covers travel, calibration, and prep work. We provide free quotes for every project.
  • What determines whether a print is $20 or $40 per square foot?
Design complexity, image resolution, and required ink coverage all affect the price. Simple graphics on smooth walls are on the lower end; photorealistic, high-definition prints or prints on textured surfaces are on the higher end.
  • Do you charge for consultations or design mockups?
Initial consultations and basic digital mockups are free. If you require multiple mockups or complex design revisions that require the assistance of a graphic designer a separate fee will apply to cover these services, we’ll let you know in advance if additional fees apply.
  • How big can you print?
We can print virtually any size. Our machine prints up to 13 feet high in a single pass, and width is unlimited by moving the printer along the wall. Large walls, hallways, and entire rooms are no problem.
  • Can you print small designs too?
Yes. We print designs as small as a few square feet. However, prints under 20 sq ft require a setup fee due to the fixed prep and transport costs involved.
  • How long does it take to complete a job?
Most projects are done in 1–6 hours, depending on size and definition of your print. A 5 ft x 8 ft mural, for example, typically takes around 3 hours to print from start to finish once the printer is set up.
  • Can the prints be removed or painted over later?
Yes, our prints are durable and long-lasting — but not permanent. They can easily be printed over with a design of the same size or larger, or simply painted over with standard wall paint.
  • Do you offer custom artwork?
Absolutely. You can supply your own design or work with us to create something from scratch. We can also adapt existing branding, logos, or imagery into high-quality print-ready formats. If a graphic designer is needed an extra fee may apply.
  • Can you print outdoors?
Yes. Our inks are UV- and weather-resistant, making them ideal for outdoor walls, signage, garage doors, stucco, and even exterior brick or metal.
  • Do you offer discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts to all active military and first responders. Also for multi wall projects and repeat business. Let us know your scope and we’ll create a custom package for you.
